Terms of Service

Last updated 2 September 2026 · Effective 2 September 2026

In plain terms. FitMap helps you record sizes and share them. Your passport belongs to you. Sizes are guidance, not a guarantee of fit. Be decent to other people, and don't try to break the service.

1. Agreement

These Terms are a contract between you and FitMap. By creating a passport or using the service, you accept them. If you don't agree, please don't use FitMap.

2. Who can use FitMap

You must be at least 13 (16 where local law requires) and able to form a binding contract. Passports for children are managed by their parent or guardian, who is responsible for that content.

3. Your account

4. Your content

Sizes, names, profiles and notes you add are yours. You grant us only the licence needed to run the service: to store your content, sync it to your devices, and show it to the people you explicitly share it with. We do not use your content to advertise to you or sell it.

5. Sharing and families

When you invite someone or publish a share card, you are choosing to disclose that information. Anyone with a card link can view it until it expires. You are responsible for who you share links with. People you add to a Fit Family can see only the passports and categories you select.

6. Sizes are guidance

FitMap's recommendations, conversions and growth projections are estimates based on the data you provide, published sizing standards, and brand evidence. Brands vary, and garments vary within a brand. FitMap does not guarantee that any item will fit, and is not responsible for purchases you make. When we aren't confident, we tell you rather than guess.

7. Acceptable use

8. Plans and payment

FitMap is free to start. Paid plans, when available, are priced in Canadian dollars, will show the price and billing period before you commit, and will renew until cancelled. You may cancel any time and keep access until the period ends. Promotional codes may be limited in time or scope. Prices exclude applicable taxes (including GST/HST) unless stated. Statutory refund rights are unaffected.

9. Service changes and availability

We're actively building FitMap. Features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may be unavailable at times. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that disadvantage you. Some features are labelled as in development and may behave imperfectly.

10. Ending the agreement

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these Terms or creates risk for others, and will tell you why unless we're legally unable to.

11. Liability

FitMap is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for purchases made in reliance on a size suggestion. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months or CAD $50.

12. Intellectual property

FitMap's software, brand, and design belong to us. These Terms grant no rights to our trade marks.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. The courts of Ontario, sitting in Toronto, have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. None of this affects consumer protections you have under the laws of the place you live, including the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 where it applies to you.

14. Language

These Terms are drafted in English. Les parties ont exigé que la présente convention soit rédigée en anglais.
